Dr. Joseph Paventy attended Brigham Young University, Idaho, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He then went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his dental training where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors. After completion of dental school, he was accepted to the University of Oklahoma for specialty training in orthodontics where he received his Master’s degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Research and continuing education are important parts of Dr. Paventy’s practice and allow him to provide the best possible care for his patients. He has been given many prestigious awards throughout his schooling.
Dr. Joe and his wife, Jeana, love Spokane and the surrounding communities. They both grew up here and are thrilled to have been able to come back home to raise a family and practice orthodontics. They currently have four wonderful children. As a family, they try to be active in the community.
Dr. Paventy has coached little league baseball teams, is involved in the local Boy Scouts of America troops, raises money for the Susan B. Komen “Race for the Cure”, and is active in their church. When Dr. Paventy has free time he enjoys reading, all kinds of exercise, watching college football, and cheering on the Seattle Mariners.
