Consider Invisalign treatment to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted — without braces. And maybe even without people noticing! A complimentary consultation with the experts at DaBell & Paventy Orthodontics can determine if Invisalign clear aligners are right for you.
Invisalign is a series of clear braces or aligners that move your teeth, step by step, from where they are now into the position you want them to be. Getting Invisalign is so easy! To get started, your orthodontist will take some pictures, x-rays, and a digital scan of your teeth.
Using the scan, a virtual model of your teeth is created. The virtual teeth are then moved to their ideal position by one of our orthodontists. All the tooth movements needed to get from the starting point to the finishing point are then divided into little steps — and each little step represents a new set of aligners.
You wear each set of aligners for about one to two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You’ll visit us about once every eight to twelve weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. We are there to make adjustments as needed to ensure you get an exceptional result. Total treatment time averages are similar to braces, 12-18 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment will vary from case to case.
Not only are the aligners virtually invisible, they are also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also more comfortable than traditional braces, with no metal or wires, which also usually means you spend less time in your doctor’s office getting adjustments. Invisalign treatment also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
When we ask our patients what their number one concern is about getting braces, most of them say “The Cost”. Braces are not cheap – but they are one of the best investments you can make in yourself and in your children!
Few things we can spend our money on can make this much impact on the rest of our lives than having a great smile. So, while the cost of braces is not trivial, the value is tremendous, well worth the cost, and there are several ways to make braces affordable for almost any budget.
The cost of braces is depending on the patient’s circumstances. The price depends more on the difficulty of the treatment than on the age of the patient.
You get what you pay for – and you don’t want a cheap smile or a bad experience! Affordability is important, and we work with every patient and family to make braces as affordable as possible.
